Privacy Policy
Last updated July 8, 2026
Roll Solver is a word-dice puzzle game. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short because the app collects little.
What we collect
- Guest profile. You can play immediately as a guest. We store a randomly generated display name and avatar color so your games and stats persist. No email or real name is required.
- Account info. If you create an account, we store your email address and your chosen display name and avatar color. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email you approve (which may be Apple's private relay address).
- Gameplay data. Your dice rolls, boards, words, scores, match history, streaks, and multiplayer results — the data needed to run the game and its leaderboards.
- Push token. Only if you turn on match/streak notifications, we store the device push token needed to deliver them. You can turn this off at any time.
- Minimal technical data. Standard request logs and aggregate, non-identifying counts (for example, how often a shared link is opened). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
How we use it
- To run the game: save your boards and stats, match you with opponents, and show leaderboards and results.
- To send only the notifications you opt into.
- To keep the service working and to improve the game.
What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your personal information, show third-party ads, or embed third-party trackers.
Sharing
- Service providers that operate the app on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and edge), and Apple / Expo (to deliver push notifications). Apple also handles authentication when you use Sign in with Apple.
- Content you choose to share. Result and board links you generate are viewable by anyone you send them to.
- We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing peterhbrandtdev@gmail.com; we will delete it promptly.
Security
Connections use HTTPS/TLS, and sessions are stored using secure, standard mechanisms. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
Roll Solver is a general-audience word game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do.
